In the U.S. President’s visit and speech in Athens 15th-16th November, ABC News White House Equipment pool, shipped from Washington DC, was handled and delivered on site by PHOENIX ECTS LIMITED. The equipment was used throughout President Barak Obama’s speeches, communications and TV/Radio transmissions. On completion of his visit in Greece, PHOENIX had shipped it back to Washingtion DC.

U.S. President Barack Obama visited Athens for a two-day official visit, during which he gave his final speech as president outside the U.S.
Air Force One landed at the Athens International Airport at 10:30 am Tuesday, 15th November 2016, under unprecedented security measures. Defense Minister Panos Kammenos and Chief of Defense, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis, welcomed the U.S. President at the airport, with all honors for a state leader.
On his last foreign trip as US head of state, President Barack Obama outlined the purpose of his visit to Greece and Germany, saying that this is part of an effort to help stabilize the global economy. In Greece, in remarks with President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, the American president spoke also of issues that are important for Athens: the Greek economy and the need for debt relief, efforts to solve the Cyprus issue, the refugee crisis and NATO.
President Barack Obama toured the famous Acropolis of Athens in Greece on Wednesday 16th November 2016, as he rounded up the first leg of his final foreign tour as president.
Obama thanked Pavlopoulos and the Greek people for the warm welcome and hospitality, noting: “You will always have the support and the friendship of the United States, as you work to move the country ahead.”
He said the United States are thankful for their alliance with the Greeks adding the two peoples have inspired each other in their respective wars for independence and have stood with solidarity “in times of war and peace, in good times and bad, including the last few years, which I know were extremely difficult for the Greek people.”
According to the protocol, the 130 Greek and American officials who attended the dinner on Tuesday 15th, included, apart from Obama and Pavlopoulos, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Ieronymos II, New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt and several Greek foreign ministry officials.
