Event Logistics is the application of project logistics to the development of events by delivering required materials and fittings and other resources necessary for the successful conduct of events like performances, exhibitions, conferences, ceremonies, formal parties, concerts, conventions, athletic meetings etc. It involves studying and planning transportation, handling, warehousing, customs clearance and other logistics aspects whilst coordinating also technical issues before actually the event is launched.
The process of planning and coordinating the event is usually referred to as event planning and includes budgeting, scheduling, site mapping, acquiring necessary permits, parking and making out contingency plans.
Our experienced Event Logistics Team make suggestions to optimize transportation budget and works with our clients to produce an A to Z plan that encompasses: budget consulting, scope of work identification, city impact/traffic management preparation, optimized operational and communication plan, vehicle procurement and handling equipment. They stay alert throughout the entire event process and ongoing reports are issued. We aim to build long term and long lasting relationship with our clients.
The Budget Worksheet is a work in progress under continuous update. An Event Specification Sheet outlines the event; kinds of elements required and approved suppliers required. These documents serve as guidelines to secure resources, manage requirements at the venue and respond to event planning contingencies. A checklist containing intended items and actions is necessary.
